Abbie Cornish Biography

Abbie Cornish is an Australian actor and rapper. When she was 13 years old, she started modeling, before getting at 15 she was offered her first acting gig. After her modeling career, she was able to be seen in a myriad of television and film shows. Cornish is most well-known for her role in the historical films  such as 'Elizabeth: Golden Age', the courtier Bess Tharockmorton as well as the heroin addict in Candy. She also played Lindy in the sci fi thriller 'Limitless', and Fanny Brawne as Fanny Brawne's character in the biopic 'Bright Star. On television, she is famous for her roles in 'Outriders' and in 'Marking Time'. Cornish, an aspiring rapper and performer, has been performing as MC Dusk since 2000. Born in New South Wales and raised in a family of three brothers and one sister, she had an enjoyable childhood before her parents separated when she was just 16. Abbie is a strong woman who managed to overcome the painful divorce of her parents. The Australian beauty is a fan of the guitar and piano although she is more into acting than anything else. Cornish is a strict vegan who believes in the rights of animals. Cornish occasionally also contributes to animal rights organizations. Abbie Cornish was born in Lochinvar, New South Wales on August 7, 1982. She is the second daughter of Barry Cornish and Shelley Cornish. Isabelle Corish, her older sister is also an actress. The actress had a romance with Ryan Phillippe, an actor she dated between 2006 and 2010.
