Morgan was born July 2, 1989 , to Pamela Morgan and Michael Morgan. Morgan was raised by her parents in Diamond Bar, Los Angeles. Morgan played multiple sports throughout her early years, but did not play soccer until she reached 14. After graduating from high school, Morgan joined the Cypress Elite club team. They took home the Coast Soccer League Under-16 championship and finished third place in the under-19 bracket. Morgan continued to train at Diamond Bar High School, where she improved her soccer abilities. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) picked Morgan to be an All-American Athlete. She was also a member of the Olympic Development Program (ODP) regional and state divisions.
