Alona Tal

Alona Tal, an Israeli American performer and actress, was born on the 20th of October 1983 in Herzliya. Her career began following her time as a member of the Israeli Defense Forces. Her biggest break came in 2003 , when she was the lead in an Israeli film. At the time she also appeared in two TV series in the country, and she also tried her hand at music making several tracks with the Israeli rapper Subliminal. Tal moved the city of New York with her sister. She collaborated with Wyclef Jean who is who is a Haitian artist who sang "Party to Damascus". American television was also a place she established herself. Her first part was a recurring one in the series Veronica Mars. Tal eventually earned an appointment as a regular character on the CBS series. After moving to New York, he appeared in two TV shows from Israel. Wyclef Jean recorded a song. Her mother tongue is Hebrew. The actress came in second place for the character of Veronica on Veronica Mars (2004).Originally she auditioned for Veronica Mars (2004) and was Rob Thomas' second choice for the title role. Thomas liked her so much that he designed the role of Meg Manning specifically for her. He was in The Israel Defense Forces. Both her parents are Jews--her father is Turkish/Jewish and mother is Polish/Jewish. She is Adrian Monk's wife. She was murdered in the last episode of Monk (2002).
