Sarah Hyland

Sarah Hyland was the daughter of actors Melissa D. Canaday (New York City) and Edward James Hyland (New York City). At the age 4 she began her career in the business with voice overs as well as commercial work. Private Parts was her first film. The Object of My Affection was her next film. She appeared on Another World (1964), as Rain Wolfe, a child who was found in the park and was fostered by Josie. Sarah worked with Amy Carlson ("Josie") at least a couple of times more: Falcone (2000). Law & Order (1990). Law & Order: Trial by Jury (2005). Sarah was cast to play "Audrey Hepburn" in Jennifer Lovehewitt's The Audrey Hepburn Story (2001). In the same year, she was also selected to play "Molly” in ABC’s The Wonderful World of Disney: Annie (1999). Starring Kathy Bates, Audra Mcdonald, Victor Garber, Kristin Chenoweth and JoeGould's Secret (2000) as well as Falcone (2000). Apart from her film and television work, Sarah studied voice, ballet, jazz, hip-hop and tap Theatre Dance, and performed with her tap and Theatre dance classes at "Reel to Real" at Lincoln Center as invited performers.A New York-born , raised girl, Sarah spent much of her time working in the fields of television, film, as well as voicing a number of radio ads as well as travelling with her father, Edward James Hyland, when he was employed at many different theaters in the country. She was raised by her mother until she was 2 years old. young. Then she went to public school. Sarah was accepted in 6th grade to PPAS (Professional Performing Arts School) and stayed there until 2008 when she graduated. Sarah is now 18, relocated to Los Angeles, CA, where she got in the air with the name "My American Family". When she was picked up, the name was changed to Modern Family (2009). Sarah is currently playing Haley Dunphy, the oldest Dunphy child. Modern Family (2009) has been awarded numerous times, including the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series.
