Kim Cattrall
Kim Victoria
Cattrall was born 21 August 1956. She is a British actor and actress, as well
as a Canadian actor. She is most famous for her role in Sex and the City's
Samantha Jones (1998-2004), in which she was nominated for five Emmy Awards as
well as four Golden Globe Award nominations. In 2002, she also won the Golden
Globe Award for Best Supporting Artistress. She reprised the role in the movies
Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2011). Cattrall made her film
debut in Rosebud (1975) and continued to play several TV roles. With films like
Ticket to Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984), Hold-Up (85) (also known as
City Limits(85), Big Trouble in Little China [86The Mannequin [86
Mannequin(1987), Mannequin (1987), Masquerade in 1988), Midnight Crossing in
1989, and The Return of the Musketeers in 1989. Cattrall soon became a
household name. She appeared in a variety of films with director Bob Clark,
appearing in four of his films: Tribute (1980), Porky's (1981), Turk 182
(1985), and Baby Geniuses (1999). Her credits on film comprise The Bonfire of
the Vanities (90) and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country(91) as well as
Split Second(92), Above Suspicion (1995) and 15 Minutes (2001),
Crossroads(2002), Ice Princess (2006), My Boy Jack (2007). Meet Monica Velour
