Paula Faris

Paula Faris, an American journalist, was previously the TV reporter at ABC News. She is most famous for her time as cohost of Good Morning America Weekend, 2014-2018, as well as host of The View, 2015-2018. In the past, she anchors World News Now and America This Morning. After graduating, she worked in several communications-related jobs including an operations position at Mills/James Productions in Columbus, Ohio. She was employed in radio sales, because television was not a viable option. She was hired as a WKEF/WRGT production assistant. Later, she became a anchor and reporter. She was one of the weekend and weekday sports anchors at WCPO TV, Cincinnati, from 2002 until. She became a reporter for sports for NBC's Chicago affiliate WMAQ-TV between November 2005 and December 2011 after her contract had expired. In December 2011 she was recruited by ABC News, the news division of ABC. The 2nd of January, 2012 she made her debut on ABC's World News Now and America This Morning. During this time she occasionally performed as a fill-in host on Good Morning America as well as the correspondent. She was then appointed a New York-based reporter for all ABC News programs. She was the host of America This Morning and World News Now's final episode on January 22, 2013. On September 9, 2014, she made her debut as co-anchor on Good Morning America Weekend, following the departure of Bianna Golodryga. She moved to Yahoo! News. News. The contract was renewed by ABC for its 20th season on the 3rd of August. She was also confirmed as co-host for Season 21. She was most well-known in the 22nd and 21st seasons of the series.
